Welcome to my website, where I create happy homes with unique, holistic interior design, sourced by my fine tuned and classically trained eyes.
My name is Mariah Maxwell. I am an Interior Designer and lifestyle consultant based in London, England. I have a passion for creating balanced space with use of organically made interiors and soft furnishings.
I offer residential and commercial interior design services within the UK and internationally.
My background is in Business Administration and I have a master's degree in Business Integration from St Julius-Maximilians University of Wuerzburg - Germany. I have worked in finance and hospitality for many years, but it was always been my passion to work in the world of architecture and interior design.
It was the beginning of the pandemic that I fecund the encouragement to take the chance and study one of my favourite fields in interior design. I started studying Residential Interior Design at KLC School of Design of London and at the same time I started working in some wonderful interior design houses in London and Spain. Among them were, Finchatton, Marbella Bonitas, Nicholas Haslam, Robert Kime and Fermoie UK. This helped me to gain experience in interior design and soft furnishing.
In October 2021 I was invited through KLC to compete in a national competition by Grand Designs Live UK to create The Great British Boxroom. Where the design and the room I curated brought me among one of the top finalists. My design was highly reviewed and recognised. I did massive collaborations with David Seyfried, Jennifer Manners, David Hunt and Fermoie during the time.
I would like this website to be a platform, where we could have the opportunity to celebrate all the great, British, environmental, earth-friendly manufacturers who create and curate sustainable designs responsibly and with respect to our beautiful, green planet. As Kevin McCloud, the British designer and writer, once said, "We will strive unceasingly to quicken the sense of environmental duty of those around us. Thus, in all these ways, we will bequeath this world to the future generations not as it is, not worse, but greater and more beautiful than it was given to us."
